This is my new momma’s best friend. Thanks to the wondrous Summer (bloggingsofamom) I heard about this application, Total Baby. You can log the baby’s entire day: naps, diapers, feedings, baths, anything you want. You can go totally overboard or you can just keep track of one. It helps give me something to do and makes me feel more organized. I also think it will come in handy when the pediatrician asks me questions. I have a horrible memory when it comes to numbers and time. It was $5.99 but worth every penny.
I’m definitely no longer worried about R not feeding enough. She fed for over an hour at 3am! Thankfully, I had a nice nap beforehand so it was a nice, quiet time for me to watch my show. Plus, she is dirtying more than her fair share of diapers so I know things are working just fine. She’s latching so much easier and quicker and I can tell she has gotten the hang of this eating thing.
She already really trying to hold her head up. Last night she was able to for about five seconds straight! Maybe I am easily impressed? Also, may I just sing the praises of the baby swing. This thing is a MIRACLE worker! How do mommas live without it?! Riley adores it and naps beautifully in it while I have lunch or brush my teeth or fold laundry. Love love love that thing!
Oh yes, and I lost TWENTY ONE POUNDS!
