A little peek at this week:

1. Special delivery!  Sweets from my sweet!  I came home to a lovely box of chocolate covered apples, bananas, and strawberries (my favorite).  My gent knows the way to my heart.  A smart man knows the best gift for his pregnant girlfriend is fruit, bathed in chocolate.

2.  I got bored last night so I decided to whip up a batch of vegan choc chip cookies.  I’m still searching for the perfect recipe.  This is the fourth one I’ve tried and it still isn’t the one.  I wish I had some hungry bellies to fill because I don’t want to eat them all myself!

3.  Check out those beautiful roses, sent to me from Chris’ dad.  They are so lovely!  I’m so blessed.  Coming home from my prenatal appointment, I walked into a house with two thoughtful favors from people who love and support me— and I haven’t even had the baby yet!

4.  The record player Chris got me for Christmas!  I finally photographed it— it’s such a beauty!  Trust me, it’s getting good use.  I’ve been dying since my old record player’s speaker went out.

9.  My shelf is so sad since all my books are in storage.  Besides, I would need at least fifteen of those shelves for all of my books.  So this is all that’s allowed to stay in the room for now.

10.  Click it!  It’s the beautiful tea cup lamp my aunt bought me for my shower.  It’s so gorgeous!  We finally found a lampshade for it and I think it’s perfect.  Is anyone getting the Alice in Wonderland vibe?  I love it.
